Basketball Meetings Update

 

The Basketball Meeting agendas are taking shape.  Meetings are scheduled for every Wednesday from October 7 through November 11 at Vernon Hills High School.

The tentative schedule includes the following topics and speakers:

October 7:  

• Special Speaker - Dave Butts - NOA State Finals Official
• On-court 2 and 3-person mechanics review or 
• TBD - State Finals Official/Clinician

October 14: 

• Coaches panel    
• Jerry Ming - Game breakdown

October 21:  

• Fred Allman - Rules update and shot clock review
• Jason Boston - Working with your crew

October 28:  

• Josh Schroder - Video Review
• IHSA Part 1 exam review

• Ken Pink - Working in and out of your primary coverage area
• Assignors Panel (Bellmore/Androus/TBD)

November 11

• Jay Lampel - You make the call
• Special Speaker - Troy Whalen - NOA State Finals Official

If any basketball official has a play clip or two from the past several seasons (from their own games or other's) that they would want to be reviewed, please forward to This email address is being protected from spambots.
