Level 1 IHSA Basketball Clinic - Nov 15 2026

Jerry Ming, a State Clinician and NOA Member is offering a Level 1 IHSA certified Basketball Clinic open to all members.  Jerry is a 54-year basketball official for high school, college and is a NCAA/JUCO video evaluator.  

This clinic will satisfy your required IHSA Level 1 clinic requirement.  Topics will range from the required professionalism, conflict resolution, 2-person mechanics, game situations, video clips, Arbiter information, networking, upcoming camps, getting started in officiating, progression of new officials and "climbing the ladder."

All proceeds go to the following charities:  Lions Club charity and Leader Dogs for the Blind, a program that provides service dogs for visually impaired people since 1939.  In prior years, clinics have generated as much as $4,000 in a single year with matching donations to this life changing charity.

 

Coffee, water and “morning snacks” will be provided to attendees.
