George Young Award
The National Football League (NFL) Officials Association gives the George Young Award, named after an NOA official who worked in the NFL and was assigned to the very first Super Bowl. The NOA continues the tradition now after Bill Swanson moved to Florida. It is awarded to an NOA football member who exhibited outstanding leadership on the football field, in the organization, and for football officiating over the years.
