The Bob Brown Scholarship is awarded to a senior basketball player who participates in the annual Bob Brown Shootout held each June. It is awarded in recognition of the long time service and effort of Bob Brown, the Assignment Chairman for the Northern Official's Association and the Fox Valley League. Bob had been a great supporter of athletics, an honest and trustworthy official, an athletic leader and promoter of high school sportsmanship and a credit to high school sports in Illinois.
